Exploring the Future and Connecting the Dots with AI at Mediastream

At Mediastream, we’ve always been driven by curiosity, innovation, and forward-thinking in the media landscape. This time, we asked ourselves: how far can AI services take us?

We’ve already envisioned a future where you could give a simple prompt like: “Create a movie in the style of The Godfather, but make it funny, with melancholic moments, where The Cure is the main soundtrack, and the ending resembles the best finales according to IMDb.” Sounds futuristic, right? A personalized movie, created just for you and your group, something so unique that maybe no one else would care for it in the same way. Perhaps one day, user-generated content like this will fill OTT platforms or other content spaces.

Is this far off? Not at all, it’s just a matter of time.

What’s truly fascinating is how close we are to this reality. Here’s a quick example: Today, I came across Google’s NotebookLM, a tool that already supports audio. I couldn’t resist trying it out, so I uploaded some PDFs from Mediastream, along with our website and a few other documents. In less than 5 minutes, the tool had generated a fully functional, well-crafted podcast about Mediastream. The best part? It was nearly an auto-promo created by AI—but it was still a valid and exciting exercise in experimentation.

I sent it to four people on my team, and only one suspected AI was behind it. The rest were stunned.

The Magic of Mediastream and AI

Afterward, I downloaded the file and uploaded it to my Mediastream Platform account. In just a few seconds, Mediastream’s MoAI created the transcription and generated all the metadata, including the title, description, IAB categories, and more. The entire process took less than a minute. And this, fellow curious minds, is the first 100% AI-generated content in the history of Mediastream. All I did was upload what our API hasn’t yet automated.

As someone who comes from the world of radio and content creation, this is truly a paradigm shift. We are witnessing the future unfold right in front of us, and the most exciting part is that we are at the heart of this revolution.

This space is becoming incredibly exciting for those of us, like Mediastream, who can’t stop being curious and innovative. We’re not just watching the future; we’re creating it.

If you want to listen to the podcast that was created, here it is. I loved it!
