Mediastream launches "Picture in Picture" (PiP) for Live Streams

This new update to the Mediastream player allows the use of a very useful feature: viewing online streams in a floating window. This way, you can continue watching without stopping or interrupting playback while interacting with other sites.

One of its main advantages is that it is draggable and adjustable to the size you want. It will automatically enable in the bottom right corner as long as you are browsing in supported browsers like Google Chrome and Safari. If your browser is not compatible, you simply will not see it.

How do I make it work?

Just click on the icon, and you will have the floating mini-player above all screens. Now you can continue with your activities without stopping the content you prefer to watch.

What should be considered?

For now, we have it available for live streams.Firefox and Internet Explorer do not yet support PiP content, but as soon as they do, we will integrate it immediately.PiP is incorporated in Android devices from version 8.0 onwards.
